I Visited the New UNIQLO Trafford Centre Store in Manchester – And I Was Blown Away by the Size!
If there’s one store I could happily spend hours browsing, it’s UNIQLO. Known for its timeless wardrobe staples, clever fabrics and everyday essentials, the brand has become a go-to for anyone looking to build a more practical, versatile wardrobe. So, when I visited the brand’s new store at the Trafford Centre in Manchester, I honestly wasn’t expecting to be quite so blown away by the size of it , or the sheer amount of choice.
UNIQLO has expanded its presence in the North West with a brand-new store at the Trafford Centre, bringing even more of its much-loved LifeWear collection to Manchester. And if you thought UNIQLO was simply a place to pick up a good basic T-shirt or a winter coat, think again.
A HUGE new UNIQLO store at the Trafford Centre
The first thing that struck me when visiting the new store was just how BIG it was. Spanning 1,110 square metres, there’s so much to explore, with an impressive selection of clothing for women, men, children and babies.
I was genuinely blown away by the range of pieces available. From everyday basics and easy-to-style layers to seasonal knitwear, outerwear and those wardrobe staples you know you’ll wear on repeat, there’s something for pretty much everyone.
What I particularly love about UNIQLO is that the brand focuses on clothes that are designed to fit into real life. Rather than relying on short-lived trends, so much of its collection is built around simple silhouettes, comfortable fabrics and pieces that can be styled in lots of different ways.
It’s the kind of shopping experience that makes you want to rethink your wardrobe and focus on the items you’ll genuinely get plenty of wear out of.

Soufflé Yarn knitwear
If you’re anything like me, knitwear becomes a wardrobe priority as soon as autumn arrives. I came away genuinely impressed by the size of the new UNIQLO store and just how much there was to discover. It’s great to see the brand expanding further in the North, giving Manchester shoppers even more access to its everyday essentials and seasonal collections.
If you’re planning a trip to the Trafford Centre, I’d definitely recommend adding UNIQLO to your shopping list. Even if you go in just to have a browse, there’s a good chance you’ll come across a few pieces you didn’t know you needed.
And if you’re anything like me, you might find yourself spending much longer in there than you originally planned!
